Born 1941 in Luebeck.
1963 to 1968 studies of chemistry at University of Heidelberg.
Graduation in the field of the surface chemistry of boron nitride and titanium dioxide,
then scientific assistant in Heidelberg.1971 doctoral thesis on infrared studies of the
chemistry of titanium dioxide surfaces.
Since 1987 lecturer for industrial property law at Munich Technical University - Weihenstephan.
From 2003 to 2005 master course "European IP Law" at Fernuniversität Hagen - Master of Laws (LL.M.)
Publications: Monograph: Chemistrypatent-Entscheidungen (Chemical Patent Decisions),
Heidelberg 1986; various treatises in periodicals.
